Hey there everyone and welcome!
Don't forget to +1 if you enjoyed the guide/decklist. A lot of time and effort went into these and it's a free and easy way to say thank you.
A Little About Me
I am a 17x Legend Player with 2x Top 100 finishes who goes by the battletag WingsOfWax or WingsOfWaxIII on other social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube). I have over 15+ Years of Magic: The Gathering Experience, but as of the release of Hearthstone: Beta been converted to this new and exciting card game.
Over the past year, I have been creating videos, articles, and casting live streams to help educate newer players about Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. As of right now, I am mostly known in the Hearthpwn.com community for creating a Naxxramas + 2,000 Dust Budget Guide 11 Deck series as well as putting Burst Rogue back into fruition.
These days I am working full time, go to school, and still create Hearthstone content whenever I find my schedule allows it. I love educating all types of players whether new or veterans about becoming a better strategy card gamer. I am creating this guide (and others) to help educate and grow the Hearthstone Community even further.
Introduction to my YouTube Channel:
Warning: This is an aggro deck. It has inconsistencies similar to any other Aggressive strategy and is not exactly straight forward to play. There is a lot (not all) of SMOrc'ing (Face is the Place) to be done, but you will have to plan out your turns according to how your hand is sculpted for optimal plays that leave you in the driver seat. Playing out this deck takes time and practice to fully master and play well, but it can be done and eventually could take you to the Legend status you desire.
Today I decided to share the decklist I've been working with over the past week (total of 6-8 hours played) to some decent success. I have yet to climb to Legend with this decklist, but may not have the time to do so.
This deck can pretty easily take an above average player to Rank 5 or greater.
General Guide:
Try to be on the offensive throughout most of the game, meaning mulligan aggressively for 1 drops, attack your opponent's face majority of the time unless you have profitable trades (example: trade a 1/1 for a 2/1 to protect your 3/2s), and save your burst for one turn. Typically around turns 6-8 is around the time you should have enough burst in your hand to kill your opponent so make sure to count up potential damage from Turn 6 and beyond to plan your alpha strike.
Card Choices:
Forbidden Ritual - A solid reload card after your opponent has played a board clear. Also helps fix whatever hole you may have in your mana curve.
Worgen Infiltrator - Another solid 1 drop that can majority of times, reliably deal it's damage. Can be replaceable vs aggro decks for Elven Archer or Mortal Coil.
Acidic Swamp Ooze - Added to the deck because of the rise in Spirit Claws and other weapon reliant classes. Can be replaced if there are less weapons with Huge Toad or Twisted Worgen.
Ironbeak Owl - I decided to add Ironbeak as a one of, but it can be easily replaced with just about anything if you are finding less Taunts in your meta. Its mana cost is a bit bigger than I would hope, which is why I can't justify two copies.
Leeroy Jenkins - Best burst minion available in the game. Can be replaced with Argent Commander if cost is an issue.
If you are looking for a more resilient version of this deck to combat all the AOEs:
If you are looking for a deck that maximizes your time and is competitive, this is the right deck for you. The deck is also Budget Friendly and can be altered slightly depending on what your collection looks like.
Here's to hoping this deck/guide is in some way beneficial to your Grinding Experience! The deck has performed extremely well for me and won games I thought were not possible to do so.
If your looking for a deck to get you out of the lower Ranks, this one will surely do the trick when piloted reasonably well.

Thank you for checking out this deck and I hope it serves you well.
Good luck and grind on,

2-8 with this deck - literally had my ass handed to me on multiple occasions.
Don't remember the last time i had this much fun in Hearthstone. Not only that, i'm also ranking up. For no reason XD
The fun is in the amount of IQ this deck requires to play. Not a lot. If you don't enjoy the deck or my comment then don't play it, if u don't like to play not overcomplicated decks on the ladder.
I don't like people saying that zoo is braindead. If you try to play it correctly zoo is actually a very hard deck to play perfectly because of all the micro decisions in trade or face, all in or not, positioning, extra card trough tap and so on.
I agree but, i don't mean the whole zoolock idea. It's just that this deck pushes the whole SMOrc "strategy". I believe zoo is best for beginners since you need to know how to establish the board, and makes you think twice before hitting face ;D
Someone update this deck. Is abusive sergeant still viable???
I reccomended replace Abusive Sergeant -> Lance Carrier, 1 mana more, but the +2 are permanent. :)
deck is great but - 2 Abusive Sergeant +2 Doomguard
and ironbeak owl is kinda useless
:S
The bottom of the deck list is interesting. But the top part I don't care for. I find Soulfire hurts me more than helps me by getting rid of the ONE minion I DIDN'T want him to get rid of. Same with Flame Imp. You do 6 damage to yourself (with no way to heal) and you MIGHT be lucky to get 1 hit in. Usually those guys are killed by firey war axes, frostbolts, spirit claws, backstab...you can go on and on.
I will repost this comment from this video.
This deck is a complete trash. I dont know the reason why you made this flashy video, maybe its to draw noobs attention so that they would play this trash deck and loose constantly, making ladder a better place. Ok, I will WARN you people: do not play this, at least not in ranked - if you do, you will regret it. Author is not showing the actual gameplay for a reason (feeding you only the flashy finishers). If he really got a 73% winrate with this deck (he only played 30 games, 22 w and 8 l, which is not that much to make a conclusion about "73% winrate"), he just got EXTREMELY lucky, and this is not gonna happen to you - well, maybe it will, but the chance is like getting a golden legendary. This deck depends ONLY ON LUCK, you MUST have all the burst (2 po, leeroy and soulfire) by turn 5-8 in your hand, along with the board presense, and the opponents health below 20. This is NOT going to happen very often, like, not more than 45% of the time. Even then, the win will NOT be guaranteed - ANY boardclear or ANY taunt will not allow you to finish the opponent. You will also have some very poor trading options, you will not be able to trade effectively with those squishy minions. Which means that your opponent will have a board presence stronger then yours, allowing him to make a lot of value trades, if you dont waste you burst on his minions. He will most likely finish you faster than you will (miracle rogue will do that with utmost ease, freeze mage will just anal rape you, tempo will outcontrole you, paladin will outvalue your minions and outheal your damage and will make you concede, midrange shamans will use boardclears constantly against this deck along with 5/5 free taunts, warlock will outvalue you and kill you faster than you will be able to get all the burst, so it goes). The only favourable matchup for this trash of a deck is secret hunter (author got a 8-1 in this matchup), sometimes - druid (he got a 3-0, but if he played more of this deck, he would probably got recked a few times, getting a 62% winrate max in this matchup), and of course PRIEST, lol. All the other matchups will give you some below average wr, and the overall wr will be below 50%. You cant climb ladder with that. Useless build.
Hey man, you should probably catch a breath and listen. This is indeed not the perfect zoo list I agree, but no list is perfect. Getting the conclusion of a certain win rate with a certain amount of games is always viable, percentages show up at any amount of games wether it is 1, 10000 or in this case 30 games. Secondly you don't need to get lucky to win with this deck you really do not have to. Luck is not a factor in the game that is why you don't see rank 25 people in legend. Thirdly yes you NEED to waste some burst on minions because otherwise you minions can indeed not trade with your opponents minions and most importantly this is just a burst deck not a OTK deck or a deck that tries to combo down you opponent from 20-30 health. And please do not say that priest is easy, for 90% of the decks it is but not for this because priest has 8 AOE auchnai circle, pyro, and the other two, and priest also outheals your burst.
And climbing ladder is possible with almost anydeck as long as you are skilled enough, a great example of this is firebat who often uses trash decks and wins with them because he is a hood player. Just try to get better and then give the deck another try.
lol yes, thats terrible, my sweet little rank 9 animal scrub.
Goudhout,
Firebat is "climbing" the ladder with his gimmick deck rather in the opposite direction. Like any other streamer, he uses gimmick decks for intertainment and fun. He climbs up the ranks with consistent decks, like any other people do.
Hitting legend is absolutely nothing in terms of expirience, skill and "getting gut", its pure rank grinding, that consists of two things: 1) a tier 1-2 deck 2) a lot of hours played. Thats all.
You can hit with tier 3 (and even tier 4) deck only in the end of the season, but that doesnt count as an accomplishment.
And yes, this deck is garbage, no matter how "gut" you are. (how the hell can you even be bad in constructed, where all the decks are the same, and the only thing you need to do is to memorize them. You must be literally mentally retarded if after 2-3 monts of playing hs and watching youtube videos you're unable to hit legend)
Your right, but lets test it first, can you find a new player for me then I will make a freeze mage deck and a chart of all the decks and within a month he will probably be legend, JK. Legend is not the greatest accomplishment but if you just know all the decks and have a good deck yourself you will not get there, you need to think of what your opponent has in his hand, think about techs and so on and by just purely playing 9 hours aday you won't get there mate. And if you think legend is not an accomplish ment show me your legend proof.
Hey Wings,
I see you suggest Argent Commander for the Leeroy Jenkins replacement and I was wondering what your reasoning was using it over Reckless Rocketeer? In my experience, this minion is usually used for the final burst with Power Overwhelming. Or for removal when you're desperate and out of other options. Either way, P/O seems to negate the advantage of a divine shield, making the Rocketeer strictly better.
Do you find a naked commander useful for removal? Or do you usually have enough other ways in hand to buff it and allow even better trades?
Doesnt hold up to reno very well
whoa, whats the one thing that you used to calculate win rates? is that a website or something?
I've never seen this amazing tool before, thank you for telling me, ive been using innkeeper instead of this one
I have no idea why this has so many upvotes, but this deck is not good at all.
I really like this deck. The dust cost is beginner friendly and a "noob" can learn so much from an aggro deck, because this seems like an autopilot deck but is certainly not. Good job Wax. :)
