wATCHA GONNA DO, BROTHER, WHEN UNDERCITY RUNS WILD ON YOU!?
Usually I stay away from alley salesmen with items in their trenchcoat.
But when I don't it's because of Undercity Huckster
not to mention some early game potential. Burgle is such a bad tempo play this is incredible.
Seams like a variation of Dark Peddler which makes it good, granted you can't discover the card but like mad scientist you get a 2/2 for 2 with a card draw (granted mad sci gets a free innervate too). While peddlar is a death rattle it's 1 cost only, unfortunately much like grand crusader or burgle you while the body is great for the effect the out come is likely to be hit or miss. Get hex, Trion, fireball or Archmage and you win big but get totem might, savagrey (not terrible for rogue) or eye for an eye and you really good little bang for your buck. At least a 2/2 body guarantees some card for card value as you get a pseudo draw your opponent must consider when playing unlike burgle which if pulling 2 duds, offers absolutely nothing in return.
Probably a good filler card for rogue as a 2 drop that doesn't die to ping but fills your hand, the upside to getting bad low drop cards offer combo enabler cards or generally good cards with high mana cost (unless you pull Tree of life or the likes). I'd certainly run this card in other classes, but rogue probably gets the most benefit a long side shaman with using any spell in the game. Raptor rogue also has synergy with this card granted it's rather mundane and not particularly a value card to resurrect with N'Zoth but likely the go to rogue 2 drop.
looks nice on curve with raptor
Half a burgle on a 2/2 is fair value at what roughly should be 3 mana, but burgle is not used much, and this card will of course have trouble dealing with 2/3s. Overall I do not think this card is quite good enough.
Huh, TIL what a huckster is.
yep
This is A.K.A. the guy who performs all those Burgles each time someone plays them.
(btw, Nefarian can only add spells, this can add minions and spells)
Powerful card. Glad Blizzard is finally giving Rogue a strong 2-drop.
The fact that this can't be pinged off makes it sooooo much better than Loot Hoarder.
No Nefairian need anymore
Nefarian
that's not what he meant...
With this card, N'Zoth the Corruptor, the Tentacle of N'Zoth, and Polluted Hoarder, the Raptor Rogue decks and the meta in general may slow down enough to make playing Anub'arak viable - especially considering that N'zoth could resummon Anub'arak in addition to Anub'arak putting itself back into your hand. 2x Anub'araks on the board maybe? It will be fun to see.
So it looks like Unearthed Raptor will have a place in standard after all.
This might be better than Loot Hoarder considering all the 1/1's that are coming out, but it still seems too random to be worthwhile. If it were discovering a class card, then it might be viable, but it seems Discover cards have been limited to LoE and brawls.
True, true. I forgot about the timing aspect of discovering on an opponent's turn. I like Discover as a means of controlling RNG, but I forget that there are limits (like the opponent's turn) to it.
this is better then card draw
Card draw will always be king. This is just a side benefit.
i Mean in fatigue decks
