If you would like to ask me any questions directly and live or be one step ahead of the meta check out my stream at http://www.twitch.tv/sigmasrb at 6 PM CEST almost every day and follow the feeds on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/sigmasrb) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/sigmasrb) for all news! I will try to stream at this time in between 3-5 days a week where I will be playing all of my decks posted here plus some other ones.
Hey guys, Sigma here! First off, sorry for taking so long to upload a deck since the new expansion came out, I've been working on my analysis of the top 10 cards which you can find here: http://goo.gl/MakktM. The second reason is that I really wanted to playtest the decks and make sure that they are good before posting any that would more go into theorycrafting than them being an actual, working deck.
So, without further ado, I present to you my Dreamrattle Paladin, which is a mix of a dragon paladin with a pinch of old Gods, in this case, the almighty N'Zoth, the Corruptor. The deck is working similar to the N'Zoth paladin that is quite present in the meta right now, but is relying on assembling your board presence early on with minions like Faerie Dragon and Blackwing Technician, reinforcing it with strong mid game with the help of Twilight Guardian, Dragon Consort and the high impact Blackwing Corruptor, all while controlling the onslaught of big enemy minions like Flamewreathed Faceless with Aldor Peacekeepers and Keeper of Uldaman and topping it off with the strong deathrattle minions like Sylvanas Windrunner or Tirion Fordring. As nobody will expect a dragon paladin in the first place, N'Zoth will definitely come as a surprise for your opponent. (I've had warriors use both brawls before I drop N'Zoth, simply because they don't expect him).
The A Light in the Darkness always throws people off and confuses them and I see it as as potentially amazing card, as I've gotten Ragnaros, Lightlord out of it more than 5 times and also the cards like Keeper of Uldaman and Aldor Peacekeeper are seen quite commonly as the chances are 4:1 that you will get a paladin minion. 9/9 Ragnaros ftw. Here are some of the screenshots of why this deck rules:
3/6 taunt with divine shield on turn 4? Who doesn't want something like this?
C'Thun decks are as good as won. The 2/3 taunt I got from the A Light in the Darkness.
9/9 Ragnaros PogChamp

I have a lot more amazing screenshots but these are some of them. I've managed to get a lot of amazing things from the A Light in the Darkness, but I believe two copies might be too much. Just go try out the deck and steer away from the meta that is practically already formed! It's time for dragons! The Mulligan, Strategy, Card Replacements and maybe Match-ups (if the meta forms until then) will be available to you guys here pretty soon! Only thing you gotta do is to show the love!
FAQ
Would Deathwing, Dragonlord be a good fit in the deck?
I personally would say no. The reason is that the dragons are usually used for tempo plays here and for the card draw so if you have more than 2 dragons in your hand by the time Deathwing should be dying, something wrong happened. Besides that I've heard that Deathwings Deathrattle is almost never triggered, as the opponent will probably just ignore it and try to kill you. Deathwing might fit a little bit better in the dragon priest as they have the more controlish aspect to them than the paladin, and especially this one, who relies on tempo early game.
2. What are the replacements for ______?
The replacements will be included with the entire guide which will come out in a day or two. I am really sorry this is so late but I've been busy making a video for this deck and the video for a rogue that has The Ancient One played.
Finally, a big thank you to my first patron, Bearmec! If you would also want to help out by becoming a patron and getting some really amazing perks that you can use on my stream, you can do so at www.patreon.com/sigmasrb!
Cheers for checking out yet another Sigma's deck and as always, the constructive criticism and any suggestions to improve the deck are warmly accepted! See you on the stream!
Cheers,
Sigma
I don't necessarily see why people are complaining about Chillmaw. Cairne gives away what the possiblity of N'Zoth, and he couldn't be played defensively.
Also, just like control warrior what control/midrange paladin absolutely lacks is card draw. You really aren't expected to still be holding on to any dragon in your hand by the late game. In fact I've so far used N'Zoth with this deck thrice , and in none of those occasion have I still got anything other than Forbidden healing or Equality+Consecration in my hand.
I don't believe Chillmaw is a bad card for this deck. It is still very useful for exactly how you just explained it. It is more of a preference on play style. I have used both cards in place of each other and have done well on each version.
Since I haven't Cairne Bloodhoof, I'm using Deathwing, Dragonlord in place of Chillmaw.
Took out Chillmaw and put in Bloodhoof currently 12-0 went from rank 20 to 12 and on win streak. There were some match ups I almost lost, mainly to mages with their dam Cabalist's Tombs, but so far manage to be undefeated with this deck. Thank you for taking the time in creating this deck and explaining it.
Fan of Sigma's Warlock decks, but this just isn't consistent enough; it relies too much on Equality and Consecration for dealing with the guy's board unless you draw Chillmaw (good luck making it to turn 7 against aggro shitters), at which point he gets polymorphed/hexed or dealt with in other efficient ways
Desperately needs Pyro combo, because it's got a lot of single threat removal (Keeper of Uldaman Aldor Peacekeeper Blackwing Corruptor) but what do you do against a board full of spirit wolves and tunnel troggs if you have a hand of 2 Consorts, Sylvanas, Brann and a Keeper?
- Chillmaw + [card]Cairne Bloodhoof[/card]. I just didn't like trying to either hit or avoid Chillmaw's deathrattle. Stats for a quick 15-13 ranked run. Small sample size (10 games), but it's a solid start.
Edit: Formatting.
Awesome deck, but i chose Cairne over chillmaw. I feel like chillmaw's deathrattle does too much damage to your board when he is killed.
I replace Brann Bronzebeard × 1 and A Light in the Darkness × 1 with second Equality and Wild Pyromancer,
to enhance board control of early game and clear board in mid/late game.
Solid deck. Went 10W - 2L @ Rank 7.
I'm torn between Ysera and Ragnaros the Firelord.
This deck seems to be super quality, but how well does it perform against those scum aggro decks?
You need luck for best fast hand possible
I made some changes because of cards I was lacking. I like the deck overall but when I lose its often because I couldn't draw to deal with the aggro. If I keep tinkering with my own list I think I'll be set with a solid deck
Came back for the new season and this deck got absolutely crushed by a cancer murloc warrior, which I wasn't even aware was a thing.
So far so good! Works extremly good, somehow even better than "original" NZoth'adin. The main thing is mulligan thou - I was playing from 20 to 10 rank - I lost 3 games, and all of them were lost because I didnt have consecration in my hand - so I do advise to mulligan for it. To those who thinks that Chillmaw is a bad option here - shes awesome, it is 6\6 body, which you can revive with NZoth. Most of the time I use NZoth there is no dragons in my hand - only removals\healing\weapon.
Dear god this deck is mean with value. Only times I have lost is the common "they got their combo early and I don't have a good answer yet" type of situation. Not having used a light in darkness at all previously, I have to say I love that card. So often I get a choice which includes a minion that ends up saving me later.
Very interesting combination (I will certainly craft my only missing card, Chillmaw for, this one instead of Cairne Bloodhoof)...
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition

I didn't have Chillmaw so I'm using Ragnaros the Firelord instead. Having two rags on the table in intimidating. If you are unlucky and they have a BGH to take care of the first, you always have the second. If they are playing face, healing rag should be played first. If they are playing control, fireball rag should be first.
Turn 10: You use N'Zoth and he resurrects Chillmaw, Sylvanas and Tiron, then the opponent kill Chillmaw and you get free damage and lost the bubble of Tiron.
I don't know, but at least for me it is a realy bad combo.
Replace Chillmaw for Deathwing, Dragonlord
