Intro:
I'm Poach, formerly dpsimi, I've been playing aggro warrior since first getting Legend with it is Season 4. You can see my other lists. With the popularity of mid-range shaman, aggro warrior has been pushed out of Standard format.
Thoughts on Wild:
Wild format is not refined at all. People are playing their own control creations, which lack proper tools to deal with aggro. However, Wild has a wide range of cards to choose from which allow for more counter play.
Mulligan:
Most cards 3 Mana and below are possible keeps, however I tend to Mulligan hard for N'Zoth's First Mate and Fiery War Axe. If you don't have N'Zoth's first Mate nor Fiery War Axe. I'll keep Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Bloodsail Raider to ensure I have plays in the early game.
Gameplan:
Use weapons to control the board early. Only make efficient trades; minions should usually go face. Often you should save combo pieces like Southsea Deckhand and Dread Corsair for Bloodsail Cultist and Ship’s Cannon. Usually around Turn 4/5 focus shifts from board Control to pure face damage.
Count your damage 2-3 turns in advance. Force your opponent to have answers.
Don’t be afraid to rely on top decks. Half of the deck is charge speed damage.
Cards to consider:
Blood To Ichor
Battle Rage
Loot Hoarder
Flame Juggler
Ravaging Ghoul
Coldlight Oracle
Arcanite Reaper
Captain Greenskin
Loatheb
Replacements for Legendaries:
Sir Finley Mrrgglton for Battle Rage
King Mukla for Ravaging Ghoul
Leeroy Jenkins for Arcanite Reaper
Sir Finley Mrrgglton Picks:
Tier 1: Life Tap
Tier 2: Steady Shot Fireblast
Tier 3: Shapeshift
Tier 4: Reinforce Totemic Call Lesser Heal Dagger Mastery
Edit [S32]:
- Captain Greenskin + King Mukla
- N'Zoth's First Mate + King's Defender
- 2x Loot Hoarder + Frothing Berserker
+ Mortal Strike
These changes ensure that we come out of the early game ahead with burst damage to finish our opponents, at the expense of Late Game Sustained Damage.

Poach...just wanted to say grats on the great deck. Like you I've been running pirates for a long time. I don't have as much time to play this deck as I want but it pretty much gets me to legen every month for the rewards and that's why I love it. Just wanted to let you know that I've been running Brann in mine and it is insane. If you haven't tried him you need to. I've dropped a 20/3 Bloodsail Raider on someone after the double upgrades from cultist and greenskin. Trust me try it. My decks on the boards here too.

A 20/3 is the same thing as an 11/3. Brann Bronzebeard is very slow, relying that it stays on board for a turn is just not possible in Wild, and the rewards are lackluster to begin with.
I would suggest you use Track-o-bot w/ Deck Evolver so that you can trim away some of the errrr... underperforming cards in that deck of yours.
Lol commenter says "Congrats on the great deck! Here's something I tried."
Your response "ERRRR LOL BAD"
Arrogant afffffffffffffffffff
This deck works like any super fast aggro. I streaked 18 wins with it from rank 25 to rank 13, then hit the wall of reno. Renolock, renomage, and secret pally can give you major headaches. It''s very much based on opening hand + your first two draws. If your opening hand is not great and your draws don't help there will be virtually no chance to recover, but that's true of virtually any aggro deck. I've managed to deal 21 damage in one turn with this deck, so it's definitely got a chance to kill decks like renomage and handlock out of nowhere.
This deck should only be played while listening to Alestorm.
Amazing how meta changes sometimes. Went15-6 from Rank 11 to 1 victory from Rank 5, then went 15-18 (30-24 total)... Had to quit and finished with another deck to get Rank 5.
Quick tip when you're giving a link to a card and want to make it golden. Use [card=gold ]Captain Greenskin[/card] (no space after gold). Captain Greenskin
LOVE this deck, having a ton of fun w/ it. Subbed frothing berserker for capt greenskin and I'm sure it would be much stronger with the captain.
I'm not sure about that, Frothing Berserker is really good, and Captain Greenskin is one of the top 4 cards I'd replace in the deck.
GOOD DECK SMOrc )/
Good deck! Often wins by turn 6 :D
Basically i went 10->5 on a win streak, i do like the deck
Just have beaten secret pal by turn 4 lol
One helluva fun deck to play. Decided to take a stab at wild, and this has been a really fun start to the format for me. Weapons decks are fun, and it's nice to have another use for the captain.
1) If enemy have 1/1 on turn one (rogue for example), and u play n'zoth mate: trade or face?
2) Why do u prefer 2 death bite's for 2 arcanite reaper or 1 reaper/1 death bite?
Depends on your hand. Do have a two drop? Then yes, ping the 1/1 with your weapon.
best wild deck since standard came out
