Intro:
I'm Poach, formerly dpsimi, I've been playing aggro warrior since first getting Legend with it is Season 4. You can see my other lists. With the popularity of mid-range shaman, aggro warrior has been pushed out of Standard format.
Thoughts on Wild:
Wild format is not refined at all. People are playing their own control creations, which lack proper tools to deal with aggro. However, Wild has a wide range of cards to choose from which allow for more counter play.
Mulligan:
Most cards 3 Mana and below are possible keeps, however I tend to Mulligan hard for N'Zoth's First Mate and Fiery War Axe. If you don't have N'Zoth's first Mate nor Fiery War Axe. I'll keep Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Bloodsail Raider to ensure I have plays in the early game.
Gameplan:
Use weapons to control the board early. Only make efficient trades; minions should usually go face. Often you should save combo pieces like Southsea Deckhand and Dread Corsair for Bloodsail Cultist and Ship’s Cannon. Usually around Turn 4/5 focus shifts from board Control to pure face damage.
Count your damage 2-3 turns in advance. Force your opponent to have answers.
Don’t be afraid to rely on top decks. Half of the deck is charge speed damage.
Cards to consider:
Blood To Ichor
Battle Rage
Loot Hoarder
Flame Juggler
Ravaging Ghoul
Coldlight Oracle
Arcanite Reaper
Captain Greenskin
Loatheb
Replacements for Legendaries:
Sir Finley Mrrgglton for Battle Rage
King Mukla for Ravaging Ghoul
Leeroy Jenkins for Arcanite Reaper
Sir Finley Mrrgglton Picks:
Tier 1: Life Tap
Tier 2: Steady Shot Fireblast
Tier 3: Shapeshift
Tier 4: Reinforce Totemic Call Lesser Heal Dagger Mastery
Edit [S32]:
- Captain Greenskin + King Mukla
- N'Zoth's First Mate + King's Defender
- 2x Loot Hoarder + Frothing Berserker
+ Mortal Strike
These changes ensure that we come out of the early game ahead with burst damage to finish our opponents, at the expense of Late Game Sustained Damage.

first wild deck thats actually fun to play
I haven't played Wild at all since Standard came out. What would you say about the competitiveness and the fun compared to Standard? (Competitiveness meaning, the grind to legend).
Wild is much more fun for me because it's less repetitive. You don't know what kind of deck your opponent has.
Secret pally is one of the best matchups, and why I chose to go with Pirate Warrior. They don't have any removal before turn 4. So you can go ham without any counterplay.
I'm having the same issue. Could you possibly explain how you play against Secret Pally? Because now that the deck is known, the match is almost unwinnable unless they miss turns 1-3 which rarely happens.
I'm not sure what your playstyle is, but it could just be variance. You might not be playing around Brawl or Harrison, you might not be saving up for combos.
Really interesting list; I haven't seen a good aggro warrior deck on Hearthpwn in a while and I'll definitely be trying this one out! I do have two questions though.
1) Do you find that 2xLoot Hoarder is enough draw? I did notice your tip to not be afraid of relying on topdecks, but I'd still be somewhat concerned about running out of steam.
2) What's the best way to handle annoying taunts (like Sludge Belcher since this is Wild after all) or big threats without Execute?
1) Sir Finley Mrrgglton is also pseudo-card draw. Or actual card draw with Life Tap. Coldlight Oracle or Battle Rage could be played but there seems to be enough card draw as is.
2) You just kill Sludge Belcher if it's played on curve or Silence it if you have Lethal. This deck has ludicrous amounts of damage. Sludge Belcher isn't really a problem. Same for Deathlord although Heroic Strike helps for that one.
thank for the deck!! i really like it. but what is the best hero power to get from Sir Finley Mrrgglton in your opinion??
Tier 1: Warlock
Tier 2: Hunter, Mage
Tier 3: Druid
Tier 4: Paladin, Shaman, Priest, Rogue
