Added 2 Golakka Crawler in place of the Blowgil Sniper to combat pirate warriors.
Mulligan Tips
Grimscale Chum - Always keep
Murloc Tidecaller - Always keep
Vilefin Inquisitor - Always keep
Bluegill Warrior - You can keep 1 if you have a Grimscale Chum in your opener
Golakka Crawler - Keep against warrior (keep 2 if you know it is pirate) Keep 1 against rogue
Rockpool Hunter - Always keep
Hydrologist - Always keep
Coldlight Seer - Keep if you have a solid 1-2
Murloc Warleader - Keep if you have a solid 1-2 or a solid 1 on the coin
Gentle Megasaur - Keep if you have a solid 1-2 (3) on the coin
Other cards are probably not optimal to keep ever.
Additional Tips -
Vilefin Inquisitor resets your hero power so if you have 5 or more mana / want to generate as much value as possible with the fewest cards you can active your hero power multiple times later in the game.
Coldlight Seer, 3 mana 2/3 that grants all of your murlocs in play +2 HP, don't be afraid to use this card on only 1-2 murlocs if need be . The overall stats generated for even hitting one minion is a 3 mana 2/5 which is a serviceable minion than can win games the value of course increases with each murloc on board.
Gentle Megasaur, similarly to the coldlight seer don't be afraid to use your megasaur on 1-2 murlocs, the 5/4 body for 4 combined with a useful effect on 1-2 minions can be enough to swing the game in your favor.
Adaptation, this card was not something I initially planned to include in this deck list when I first came up with it before the expansion launched. I decided to add the adaptations as a low cost card to lower my hand size for divine favors. I quickly found that adaptation far exceeded my expectations and over performed as a card. The poison effect can be used on a 1/1 as a form of removal, the +3 attack (same as blessing of might) can be used to push a few extra burst damage or as removal as well. Divine shield can be utilized to protect some of your higher priority minions (murloc tidecaller, murloc warleader) the same can be said for +3hp and Stealth if used correctly. Finally the ability to potentially give a minion windfury for only 1 mana is quite powerful (shaman spell windfury costs 2) you can combine this with Leeroy Jenkins in a tough situation for a chance to deal 12 damage for only 6 mana.

what do u think about including Small-Time Recruits
Can't pilot this deck at all - it gets destroyed really fast - rogue with taunts (what?); mulligan into only 3+ cost drops (gg - had 2 of those vs quest rogue - c'mon); aggro sham clears board and you can't come back from that; can't pull concentration when you need it (just 1 - even bumping to 2, its flitty); priests can outheal and maintain board control (wtf); in 8 games I never even got to play the Ninja. In 8 games, only had one good draw experience (which was quick win, sure) and was at 38% win rate.
Gonna go try shaman murloc quest - it seems to have way more resilience - this is a get lucky deck only. I hate get lucky decks - I already have rogue quest for that :)
I just got Finja, the Flying Star in a pack and hopefully I found this really good and funny deck.
Thank you!
Great deck, made my climb in the Asia server from around rank 6 to rank 2, and my winrate converged around 50% there going back and forth ranks 2 and 3, so I'm trying Lyra priest and plant rogue for the rest of the climb.
It does feel like a easy-win or no chance at all deck, but with not much aoe removal in the meta right now, murloc aggro decks does feel more powerful than before.
Yeah nvm idk how you got to legend. all i'm vs is fucking cancer decks. i won 3 in a row then fucking lost 7. I was 1 star away from rank 15 after those 3 wins, now i'm 18 and 2 stars. i'm tempted to delete this deck, uncraft all the cards and make a new one because so far this has proved to be kind of shit. and don't say it's because i'm drawing bad, i've had great opening hands, as well as buffing up my murlocs in early, middle, and sometimes even late game, but every fucking game the other person has an aoe like every turn. on top of that (there's more? yeah more bs with this luck based game) if it isn't that stupid fucking aoe, it's taunt warrior! so I have to waste cards that are great buffed on those taunts, then I can't do anything else because i'm trying to clear them.
maybe I've gotten 7 sweaty people in a row, maybe, but even in casual today it's been like this and if it continues then I am done with this deck because this is starting to get ridiculous. I also get it's gonna take some time, but really, 7 losses in a row? that can't just be me being unlucky.
So, props to you for getting legend, no clue how. ik you're way better but when using an almost identical deck that a legend person used to get to legend, it's kind of frustrating.
So I don't have finja and only have 1 vilefin, so I put in another consecration and also a hammer of wrath. I couldn't think of anything else to put in to replace them, thoughts?
1 vilefin is passable but not having finja is a huge loss in win rage, she affects the game so much its hard to see a reason to play this deck with out her
you are right he is good in here.
Can I replace Vilefin Inquisitor ? I dont want craft it
That card is pretty important and hard to replace.
i also got to legend just with this list from rank 5 on.
i am not completely sold on the Grimscale Chum, everything else was performing well. i mixed it up with argent protector and smugglers run, but got mixed results with these changes. so this deck is probably the best murloc paladin list out there. hm, what are your thoughts about hemet?
So what happened to the Divine Spirits? Seems ideal for this deck.
20 games test: 14-6 ending at rank 4. Great deck. Hydra replacement? Tirion? Nesting Roc?
As I said, Frostwolf Warlord makes a good Hydra replacement
Solid deck, finally motivated me to craft Leeroy and a couple epic murlocs but so far worth it. Appreciate the mulligan too :)
Thanks for the share.
I based my deck off your list.
What do you think about Frostwolf Warlord instead of Bittertide Hydra? (I don't have the Hydra). It's often an 8/8 for 5, sometimes a 10/10, with no drawback, since your board usually has lots of minions. Obviously Hydra is better if you have your board cleared (but then you've probably lost anyway).
I also added a Divine Favour since your list has no card draw except for discover effects. EDIT: I see you took it out though at some point, interesting.
EDIT2: I also suffered from Murloc Tidehunter/Murloc Tidecaller confusion, but I don't have the Tidecaller ;) I guess it makes Frostwolf Warlord better for me!
EDIT3: I agree that Adaptation is surprisingly good, last game I gave my 9/9 Frostwolf windfury to finish off a pesky questy rogue :) You can also gamble on giving an expendable minion poisonous to try and break through a taunt wall.
This deck is alot of fun. I had one game where my opponent played dirty rat on turn 2 to pull my warleader. set me up for a nice turn 4 lethal.
Nice deck, get legend with it. Only difference +1 Divine Favor +1 Acidic Swamp Ooze +1 Blowgill Sniper -2 Adaptation -1 Hydra.
I have most of this deck except for the two legendaries. Which do you think is more important for the deck to function?
In my opinion Leeroy is more important. And u can discover Finja from lookout anyway.
